Holidays in Bungalow at the Cinque Terre are a great classic for every season, as we are in one of the most famous tourist areas of Liguria, ideal for both seaside holidays and for discovering a territory so suggestive to be part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Located in the province of La Spezia, on the Ligurian Eastern Coast, the Cinque Terre hosts campsites and holiday villages with bungalows able to combine, in many cases, the panoramic view of the coastline and a short distance from the sea.
What to see at the Cinque Terre
The name Cinque Terre indicates the presence of 5 ancient villages, in which man and nature have established a delicate and fascinating balance at the same time, an expression of a timeless lifestyle. What are the villages of the Cinque Terre? All located in the province of La Spezia, we have: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Characterized by the presence of a natural Gulf, Monterosso Al Mare is the most populated village and, together with the nearby Fegina, offers some of the widest and most accessible beaches in the area. A common feature of the villages of the Cinque Terre is the fascinating historical centres, coloured and perched on the cliffs of the Ligurian Eastern Coast. Although the old towns of the Cinque Terre are a must, those who stay in bungalows at the Cinque Terre can indulge in pleasant rambles to discover the small village of Porto Venere and Palmaria Island, two of the most popular tourist destinations of the entire Gulf of Poets.
Beaches at the Cinque Terre
Those who choose to stay in campsites and holiday villages with bungalows in the Cinque Terre, especially in summer, do not want to compromise on the days of relaxation and sunbathing by the sea, but which are the best beaches of the Cinque Terre? The selection, in this area consisting mainly of coves, certainly includes the aforementioned area of Monterosso Al Mare and Fegina, in the shadow of the Statue of the Giant, where there is one of the most extensive stretches of sandy beach. Much smaller beaches, although with an extraordinary panorama, are then those of Vernazza and of Marina di Corniglia, while in Riomaggiore there are slightly bigger beaches. For those who prefer the beaches with services, it is possible to travel to Bonassola and Levanto to take advantage of the services usually offered by the bathing establishments.
